Students’ learning is our number one priority! Thus, Khurasan is working hard to provide an enriched environment where our students can learn and grow as leaders.

 

Updated Facilities

Our facilities are equipped with a computer lab, fast-speed internet and a growing library.  We also are updating our website content to provide the latest information and online resources that will help our students succeed in the classroom and the workplace.

Job Center

Our students and alumni will soon be able to take advantage of the Job Center that will have resources in preparing for and finding jobs after they graduate.  Such resources include coaching on:

* How to set career goals that matches students' skills and values

* How to research on different career options and fields

* How to create winning resumes appropriate for the job opportunities

* How to prepare for an interview

* How to network effectively

The Job Center will also encourage potential employers to conduct on-campus recruiting of students and alumni to fill open positions.

Student Support

The staff and faculty at Khurasan want to support students at every stage of their program.  Students can seek additional assistance from their professors through email and office hours.  Our new integrated intranet system also allows students to seek help and learn from each other.  Our online courses are all supported by in-class instructors.  Our staff is also available to help students in case of special circumstances they may have.  As always, students are welcome to give their feedback on how we can improve our services to meet their needs.

Student Government

Student government is a way students can have a greater involvement in the university policies and activities that involve them, as well as gain valuable skills and experience in leadership.  Student representatives will be elected each year by their classmates to represent them in shaping university policy, fostering student-faculty relationships, supporting student activities, and bringing new ideas to support the overall advancement of the Khurasan community. Student Clubs and Activities

The more active role our students take in their school, the more enriching and rewarding will be their experience.  Therefore, we encourage all our students to be fully engaged in their school community through the facet of activities outside of the classroom.  Any group of students who would like to initiate starting an official school club or sports team can apply using a simple application form.  Each club will be listed below and have a link to their own website. Student Housing

At this time Khurasan has limited on-campus residence for our male students and staff.  However, we have plans in the next few years to build dorm facilities for both our male and female students who are not able to commute to class everyday.  In the meantime, we will help students find affordable accommodations within the city of Jalalabad.
